Dr. Nick Milton holds a Masters in Chiropractic and a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science, with additional training in osteopathy and sports massage gained in London, England.
His hands-on experience spans over 30 years — he first began learning bodywork in his youth, long before it became a profession.
That career has taken him from high-performance sports settings — working with professional golfers, tennis players, and rugby squads — to community-based family practice on Vancouver Island. Alongside his work at the clinic, he also treats students and varsity athletes at UVic, and has previously served as an instructor at a local massage school.
What sets Nick apart is that he’s not just a practitioner — he’s a patient. A lifetime of being physically active means he’s had injuries to nearly every joint along the way. He’s recovered from car accidents. He knows what it feels like to sit in the waiting room, to manage pain alongside work, and to carry the physical weight of stress, sleepless nights, and the beautiful chaos of raising a family. Through all of it, chiropractic care has been the thing that’s kept him moving — and that’s not something he takes for granted when he’s treating you. That understanding shows up in how he treats people. His approach is functional and thorough — looking beyond symptoms to how your body actually moves and operates — but it’s also human. He listens. He’s been there.
Most of Nick’s time outside the clinic is spent with his wife Jayne and their kids — exploring, teaching, and keeping up with them. Beyond that, he’s out hiking the Island’s peaks and wilderness with his dog Gypsy, who doubles as the clinic’s unofficial greeter. He’s also a keen disc golfer and a long-time captain of a local darts team — ask him about either and you might not get him to stop.

Meet Dr. Jayne Bidgood
“I love interacting with people, feeling like I’m giving them hope and providing natural solutions to improve their lives.”
At age 9, Dr. Bidgood became a chiropractic patient. She looked forward to every visit and felt so fantastic afterward, she thought it was worth going even if she wasn’t in pain. “It helped me feel more vibrant and alive. When it was time to choose a career, chiropractic seemed like a natural fit.”
Firsthand Experience in Prenatal, Postpartum and Accident Care
Dr. Bidgood attended the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, where her aunt had been a teacher years before. Her mother attended chiropractic college and graduated in the same period, though at a different college than her daughter. The additional training Dr. Bidgood has undertaken includes studies within pediatrics.
After Dr. Bidgood gave birth to her daughter, her spine, postural and overall structure changed, resulting in a prolonged recovery period. Chiropractic helped her heal and get back to optimum function. She has also been in car accidents and gotten whiplash. After seeing multiple other practitioners, the chiropractor was again the person who provided the right solution.
“I love helping people discover how chiropractic can help them in their day-to-day lives. I’m genuinely interested in who my patients are. I care about them and will treat them like family.”
Putting Family First
Dr. Bidgood is passionate about her family and spending time with her loved ones, particularly her and Dr. Milton’s daughter, Ella and son, Alex. It’s a joy to watch her children grow and develop, bursting with happiness every time they do something new.
Being a mom has brought Dr. Bidgood back to things that matter and taking care of herself. She places a tremendous value on proper sleep, nutrition, exercise and spending time out in nature. A passionate cook, she enjoys being in the kitchen and never sees making meals as a chore.
